NHS Direct Wales
NHS Direct Wales is a health advice and information service available 24 hours a day, every day.
You can call NHS Direct Wales on 0845 46 47 if you are feeling ill and are unsure what to do, or for health information on a wide range of conditions, treatments and local health services.
Help Me Quit is the brand that covers all NHS stop smoking services in Wales. Help Me Quit was established in 2017 to make it easier for smokers to access NHS stop smoking support. The Welsh Government has committed to reducing the number of smokers in Wales to 16% by 2020. Despite progress, there are still over 490,000 adult smokers in Wales.
Age Connects Cardiff and the Vale helps thousands of local older people. Help is at hand when people most need it may be coming home to an empty house after a stay in hospital, being supported when making difficult choices such as moving into a care home. For many housebound older people their weekly volunteer visitor may be the only person they see to talk to and spend time with.
Greenlinks Community Transport
Greenlinks Community Transport has four accessible minibuses, two 9 seater and two 12 seater, plus two accessible cars. Depending on vehicle availability and passenger demand, their volunteer driven vehicles can transport you to where and when you want to travel.
Stepiau is a service developed by the Primary Mental Health Support Service (PMHSS) for Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Stepiau primarily provides accessible self help resources and links to local services as a first step to developing mental wellbeing.

CALL offers emotional support and information/literature on Mental Health and related matters to the people of Wales. Anyone concerned about their own mental health or that of a relative or friend can access the service.
